Tor Garadon is the Third Captain of the Imperial Fists and the longest-serving commander of the Chapter's 3rd Company, the Sentinels of Terra. In him the harsh lessons of Rogal Dorn are distilled to their most punishing essence, patience, discipline and an utter refusal to be moved, making him one of the most formidable warriors the sons of Dorn can field.
Garadon was raised to the Imperial Fists from the orbital habitats of Callisto, one of the moons of distant Jupiter, drawn like so many of his brothers from the void-born populations of the Sol System. A Primaris Space Marine, he has been tested across a thousand battlefields, and each has only hardened his conviction and sharpened his mastery of war.
Into battle he carries an unusual and devastating pairing of weapons: a heavy grav-gun mounted upon his armour's backpack, which crushes even the mightiest foes beneath the weight of collapsing gravity, and the master-crafted power fist known as the Hand of Defiance. With these he anchors the Imperial Fists' battle line, an immovable point around which the tides of war break in vain.
The 3rd Company bears a proud and solemn charge, for the Sentinels of Terra stand as guardians of the Throneworld and the wider Sol System, ever ready to answer any threat against the cradle of Mankind. Garadon has upheld that duty across a career longer than any of his predecessors in the role, weathering siege and counter-siege with the same immovable calm and grooming a generation of battle-brothers in the punishing arts of fortress warfare at which the sons of Dorn have no equal.
Steadfast to the point of obstinacy, Garadon embodies the defensive genius of his Chapter. He does not seek glory in wild assaults or grand gestures; he seeks only to hold what must be held and to break what must be broken, standing as an unyielding bulwark against every enemy of Mankind foolish enough to test the resolve of the Sentinels of Terra.
