The Vindicator is a siege tank without equal in the Space Marine arsenal, built upon the reliable armoured hull of the Rhino and mounting a single terrible weapon: the demolisher cannon. Designed to reduce fortifications to dust, this squat siege gun hurls a massive shell that can collapse bastion walls, obliterate bunkers and blast a bloody path through the densest enemy formation.
What the Vindicator sacrifices in range it repays many times over in sheer destructive force. It must close with its target, grinding forward behind a heavy siege shield and the reinforced dozer blade at its prow, shrugging off enemy fire as it advances into optimal range. Then the demolisher speaks, and where its shell falls, defences and defenders alike are simply erased.
Commanders unleash the Vindicator when a war has bogged down into the grinding brutality of siege, or when an entrenched foe must be broken open in a single stroke. To the enemy soldier cowering behind rockcrete ramparts, the low rumble of its approach is a death knell, for no wall the Imperium's foes can raise is proof against the Vindicator's wrath.
