The Crimson Hunter is a sleek interceptor flown by Aspect Warriors who follow one of the deadliest of the Warrior Paths, a discipline devoted wholly to the destruction of the enemy's aircraft and armour. Its pilots are so utterly bonded to their craft that machine and warrior seem a single predatory being, banking and rolling through the heavens with a grace no crude Imperial airframe could hope to match.
Armed with bright lances and a pulse laser, the Crimson Hunter falls upon flyers and heavy tanks alike, its energy weapons punching clean through armour that would shrug off lesser fire. It hunts as its name suggests, stalking a target through the clouds, choosing the perfect angle, and loosing a single killing volley before wheeling away untouched.
Yet the Path of the Crimson Hunter is a perilous one, for its exarchs risk being lost forever to the thrill of the kill, trapped upon the wing until nothing of the Aeldari beneath the war-mask remains. Those who master it become aces without equal, their tally of downed enemies a grim measure of how close they dance to that final, irrevocable transformation.
