Sharing the sleek hull of the Falcon grav-tank, the Fire Prism forgoes the carriage of warriors in favour of a single, devastating gun. It glides above the ground on humming anti-gravity fields, crossing terrain that would bog down a tracked machine and repositioning with a speed that keeps it forever a step ahead of the enemy's guns. It is, above all else, a hunter of the foe's heaviest engines.
The heart of the machine is the prism cannon, a weapon of characteristic Aeldari ingenuity. A charge of energy is loosed into a massive crystal that amplifies it in an instant, and the result may be focused into a narrow lance capable of burning clean through a battle tank, or spread into a wider blast that annihilates massed infantry. Its reach is prodigious, twice that of many Aeldari guns, letting it strike at targets barely visible upon the horizon.
More fearsome still is the tanks' ability to act in concert. Several Fire Prisms can align their cannons and combine their fire into a single overwhelming beam, an accumulation of energy that can reduce even the most formidable war engine to slag in a heartbeat. The Imperium covets this technology and has never mastered it, for the few prism cannons ever recovered from the battlefield have come as smoking wreckage, their secrets burned away with their crystal hearts.
