The Gorkanaut is one of the largest walkers an Ork warband can field short of a true Stompa, a hulking humanoid engine of riveted plate and barely contained violence, built to embody the brutal, straight-ahead spirit of the god Gork. Towering over the Boyz who march in its shadow, it exists for the simplest of purposes: to stride into the heart of the enemy and demolish everything within reach, trusting sheer mass and firepower to carry it through.
Where its more cautious sibling the Morkanaut carries a Kustom Force Field for protection, the Gorkanaut dispenses with such subtleties and pours everything into offence. One arm ends in an immense Klaw of Gork, a crushing fist that tears apart tanks and fortifications with contemptuous ease, while its body bristles with guns crowned by the Deffstorm mega-shoota, a monstrous weapon that vomits a withering hail of shells into anything ahead of it. Little that stands in its path survives the combination for long.
A Gorkanaut can also carry a mob of Boyz within its armoured frame, delivering them into the fighting before wading in itself, so that its arrival heralds both a walking gun-fortress and a fresh wave of greenskins spilling out around its feet. To the Orks it is a mobile monument to their creed that might makes right, and they follow it into battle roaring, certain that anything so big and so loud must surely be unstoppable, a belief that, in the peculiar way of Ork technology, helps make it very nearly true.
