The Pyrovore is a squat, heavily built organism grown to vomit gouts of acidic, burning bile that reduce entrenched defenders to bubbling ruin. Its internal biology churns with volatile chemicals, stored in swollen sacs beneath its armoured hide, which it hurls forth as a stream of digestive flame ideal for scouring infantry from bunkers, trenches, and ruins.
That same volatility makes the Pyrovore lethal even in death. When its body is finally torn apart, the unstable reservoirs within rupture in a violent caustic detonation, showering everything nearby in corrosive fire and often claiming the very foes who slew it. Directed by the Hive Mind, Pyrovores are unleashed as living siege-flamers wherever the Tyranids must burn the enemy out of hard cover. Slow and ungainly, they are nonetheless dreaded by any soldier who has watched one lurch forward, glands glowing, before drowning a position in liquid fire.
