Skorpekh Destroyers

Nihilist butchers of the Destroyer Cults who have remade their bodies for close slaughter, whirling through enemy lines on scything hyperphase blades.

The Skorpekh Destroyers are among the most disturbing warriors the tomb worlds produce, adherents of the nihilistic Destroyer Cults whose creed is the extinction of all organic life in the galaxy. Where most necrons wage war with cold detachment, the Destroyers are gripped by an insatiable, self-consuming hatred of living things, a madness so absolute that it unsettles even their own unliving kin. They have willingly submitted to reforging, casting aside their original frames for bodies better suited to the work of butchery.

Unlike the anti-grav Destroyers who drift above the battlefield raining down fire, the Skorpekh variant stalks the ground on three heavy limbs, built low and lethal for close and personal slaughter. They wade into the thick of the enemy wielding enormous hyperphase blades, weapons that shear through armour and flesh with equal ease, and their tripodal frames let them spin through a press of bodies in whirling arcs of murder that are nearly impossible to parry or escape.

There is nothing of strategy in a Skorpekh Destroyer's purpose, only the reaping. They exist to kill until nothing living remains, and they pursue that end with a single-minded ferocity that borders on ecstasy. Deployed as shock troops to break an enemy's heart as much as its line, they descend upon the foe in a storm of scything blades, leaving nothing behind but silence and the ruin of the dead.
