The Lokhust Heavy Destroyers are the Destroyer Cult's answer to the armoured monstrosities of the living. Where their lighter kin hunt infantry, these grav-hovering horrors are each built around a single oversized weapon: a heavy gauss weapon that strips matter atom from atom, or an enmitic launcher that saturates a position in annihilating fire. Torso and skull have been fused to an antigravity chassis, all pretence of a walking form abandoned in favour of the perfect gun-platform. A Lokhust drifts across the battlefield in eerie silence, selecting its prey with the dispassion of an old accountant balancing a ledger of the dead. Battle-tanks that shrug off lesser fire are opened like ripe fruit; war-engines are felled mid-stride. This is the terrible patience of the necrons made manifest in a single hovering figure, a creature that has forgotten its own name yet remembers, with crystalline clarity, exactly how to kill the greatest things upon the field.
