Flesh Hounds are the coursing beasts of Khorne's kennels, lean daemons whose scaled hides shrug off blade and bolt as easily as a hound sheds rain. Something between wolf and reptile, they run down their quarry on tireless limbs, their blunt maws crowded with shredding fangs, and the reek of hot iron trails wherever the pack lopes. To the Blood God they are the hunt made flesh, loosed to chase the fleeing and the fearful until every last skull is torn free and claimed for the mountain at his feet.
About the throat of each hound hangs a Collar of Khorne, hammered at the foot of the brass throne from metal quenched in the blood of slaughtered witches. Each collar is a vessel for the Blood God's hatred of sorcery, and so the pack passes unharmed through curses and warp-fire that would unmake lesser daemons. Spellcraft holds no terror for these beasts; rather, they are drawn to its stink, hunting psykers across the stars to silence them in a welter of gore. The most feared of their number is Karanak, the three-headed hound of vengeance, who tracks marked prey through space, time and dream alike, ensuring that no teleport nor swift steed can carry a quarry beyond the reach of Khorne's wrath.
