His daemons reflect this: rotund, contented, and endlessly patient, they shuffle into battle wearing perpetual smiles even as their bodies split with corruption.
At the heart of every Nurgle host march the plaguebearers, tally-keepers who count the spread of disease with mindless devotion, backed by swarms of gleeful nurglings and the lumbering bulk of the great unclean ones. Their strength lies not in speed or fury but in sheer, grinding resilience. Wounds that would fell any other foe are shrugged off, poured out, or simply ignored, and their numbers seem to grow rather than diminish under fire.
