The Exalted of Khorne

Ka'Bandha stands among the most storied of all Bloodthirsters, a greater daemon elevated by the Blood God for slaughters so vast and so pleasing that his name is spoken with dread across a thousand battlefields. He is wrath given its purest and most terrible form: a towering figure of brass-bound muscle and beating wings, wreathed in the heat of countless burning worlds. To look upon him is to understand, in a single instant, the full and pitiless meaning of the Blood God's creed, that only killing matters, and that all things exist to be unmade.

Weapons and Fury

In his grip Ka'Bandha bears an axe of monstrous size, its edge sharp enough to cleave through the mightiest defenders as though they were chaff, and a lash of living flame with which he drags distant prey into reach or scourges entire ranks in a single sweeping blow. Yet no weapon is so dangerous as his sheer presence. His roar carries the accumulated rage of every battle he has ever fought, a psychic hammer-blow that shatters courage and drives lesser minds to despair or reckless frenzy. He does not tire, does not falter, and takes a savage joy in each life he ends, for every death is an offering laid before the throne of brass.

An Ancient Hatred

Unlike the mindless horrors of the lower ranks, Ka'Bandha possesses a long and vengeful memory. He has clashed with the defenders of the galaxy across the span of ages, and certain foes have earned his particular and undying enmity, warriors who once denied him a victory he believed his due. This grudge burns in him like a forge, and he will abandon lesser prey to pursue those he hates, seeking to settle scores that stretch back through the mists of the galaxy's bloody history. Such focus makes him more than a weapon; it makes him a hunter, patient in his hatred and merciless in its fulfilment.

Herald of Ruin

When Ka'Bandha is summoned into realspace, his coming is heralded by omens of blood and fire, and the daemonic legions rally to his banner with fervour. He is a general as much as a butcher, marshalling Khorne's hosts with a warrior's instinct while personally seeking out the greatest challenge the field can offer. Cities have fallen and defenders numbering in the millions have been reduced to heaps of skulls in the wake of his campaigns. Though he can be banished, hurled back into the warp by sufficient force, such exile is only ever temporary. Ka'Bandha always returns, his rage undiminished and his thirst for slaughter as bottomless as the tide from which he was born, ready once more to drown the galaxy in blood in the name of his brazen god.
