Bloodletters are among the most numerous and recognisable of all daemons, the rank and file upon which Khorne's wars are built. Distilled from the raw fury of countless battlefields, they take the form of lean, horned humanoids with skin the colour of fresh blood, their faces fixed in snarls of eternal rage. Despite their savagery they are creatures of discipline, marching in ordered ranks and answering the commands of their heralds without hesitation.
The true terror of a bloodletter lies in its hellblade, a jagged sword conjured from the daemon's own malevolence. These weapons drink deep of life, and even a glancing cut can prove mortal as the daemon's essence poisons the wound. Massed together, bloodletters form an unstoppable tide of edged death, each one straining to be the first to claim a skull for the throne of brass. When their manifestation is heralded by the sound of a thousand blades scraping against reality, wise commanders know that no negotiation and no mercy will follow.
