The Stormdrake Guard are a pact as much as a regiment: veteran Stormcast knights bonded to the draconith, a proud race of storm-drakes who allied with Sigmar against their ancient enemies. Each pairing of rider and drake is a brotherhood of equals, sealed in oaths older than the free cities.
When the Stormdrake Guard descend, battles end. Drakes breathe roiling storms of celestial fire while their riders strike with drakerider lances, and together they can unmake monsters, warlords, and fortress gates in a single pass. The free peoples tell their children that when thunder rolls twice, it is the Stormdrake Guard answering somewhere far away.
