Aventis Firestrike carries two burdens few Stormcast could bear at once: he is a Lord-Arcanum of the Sacrosanct Chambers, master of celestial magic, and the Magister of Hammerhal Aqsha, the fiery half of the Twin-Tailed City that straddles two realms. In his mortal life he is said to have been a scholar-priest, and something of that patient intellect survived the Anvil, tempering his power with a rare, calculating wisdom.
He rides a Tauralon, a winged celestial beast crowned with a comet, and from its back he calls down storms and searing bolts to scatter the enemies of Order. When Chaos and the undead press against Hammerhal's walls, it is Firestrike who reads the omens, marshals the Sacrosanct wizards, and turns the tide with a single thunderous descent from the clouds. Among the Stormcast Eternals he is revered as both statesman and stormbringer, a ruler who governs a great city by day and hurls the wrath of the heavens by night, never once letting the fire he commands consume the people he was forged to protect.
