Alone among the Stormhosts, the Hallowed Knights are bound by a single condition of their forging: every soul among them called upon Sigmar's name with their dying breath. They are faith made into an army — silver-armoured, serene, and unshakeable — and their battle-litanies roll across the field like hymns sung by a cathedral that has learned to march.
That shared devotion gives them a resilience the other hosts cannot match. A Hallowed Knight who ought to be broken simply prays and stands again, and their crusades have carried them into the foulest corners of the realms, even into the Realm of Chaos itself, without their certainty wavering. "Only the faithful" is their creed and their boast, and it has become a quiet comfort to the free peoples, who see in them the one host that still speaks to mortals as fellow mortals rather than as living thunderbolts.
More than any of their kin, the Hallowed Knights labour to remember the humanity the Reforging burns away. They keep the names of the dead and honour the common soldier, holding that a Stormcast who forgets what he fought for has already lost. Among the Stormcast Eternals they are the beloved conscience — the proof that Sigmar's weapon can keep its soul.
Stormcast Eternals
Order of battle
The Hallowed Knights field the units of the Stormcast Eternals — a detachment from the roster:
Kindred formations
Other Stormcast Eternals formations
Anvils of the HeldenhammerGrim, black-armoured Stormcast drawn from souls of an older, darker age. The Anvils fight with funereal patience and a closeness to death that unsettles even their allies, for many of them were dead long before Sigmar's storm found them.
Celestial VindicatorsForged from souls who died with vengeance unfinished, the turquoise-clad Celestial Vindicators are the most ferocious of the Stormhosts. They fight with a fury barely contained by discipline, hunting the servants of Chaos with the hunger of those who lost everything to them.
Hammers of SigmarThe First Stormhost, golden exemplars of the God-King's will and the most celebrated of all Stormcast brotherhoods. Where the Hammers of Sigmar march, the free peoples see the storm itself given form — and the Hammers carry the weight of being legends who are never allowed to fail.
