Every Liberator was once a mortal who stood when others fled — a farmer who held a bridge, a soldier who guarded a fleeing village. Sigmar chooses them precisely for that stubbornness. It is the Liberator's lot to be first through the realmgate and last off the field, and they carry that burden with the quiet pride of those who remember, however dimly, what it was to defend a home.
