Aleguzzler Gargants

Feral, ale-mad giants that lurch through the realms in a permanent drunken rage, recruited by the tribes when a battle needs a mountain that fights.

Aleguzzler Gargants are the wild, untamed kin of the tribal Mancrushers — feral giants that lurch across the Mortal Realms in a haze of stolen ale and simmering rage, and the pool from which the Sons of Behemat draw fresh muscle. Cursed with a thirst that can never be slaked, an Aleguzzler will drink a village's cellars dry and then eat the villagers for the crime of running low, roaring and staggering through its own destruction with dim-witted glee. They fight the way they live: without plan, without mercy and without any clear idea of when to stop, laying about themselves with uprooted trees and grabbing foes to cram into a gap-toothed maw. Canny tribal leaders recruit them with barrels and bribery, pointing them at the enemy and trusting brute mass to do the rest. An Aleguzzler is unreliable, unpredictable and prone to wandering off mid-battle in search of another drink — but when it does connect, entire regiments simply cease to exist beneath its flailing bulk.
