Grolok the Fisheater

Grolok the Fisheater is among the most storied Kraken-eaters of the Sons of Behemat, a Mega-Gargant of the Taker Tribe whose name is cursed along every coast and river-mouth he has ever waded. Grolok earned his title honestly, for there is scarcely a sea-monster in the nearby realms he has not hauled up thrashing and devoured whole, and the great net slung across his back sags with the treasures, ships and captives he has taken along the way. He wanders the tide-lands in search of the next grand meal, and where he passes, fishing fleets vanish, harbours are emptied of their walls, and coastal towns wake to find a mountain wading out of the surf toward them. For all his greed, Grolok is no mindless brute; he is a shrewd forager who knows exactly which settlements are worth the wading and which are best left to their poverty. To the folk of the shore he is a living catastrophe with a fisherman's patience — and to the Taker Tribe, he is proof that the whole world is simply waiting to be gathered up in a big enough net.
