Pilots who graduate to the Broadside program are typically veterans who have already logged extensive time in more mobile suits, warriors trusted to hold a critical position and lay down sustained, accurate fire while more agile units maneuver around them. A Broadside team advancing in support of a Sa'cea Sept offensive is often the clearest sign that the empire intends to win a battle through sheer, unanswerable firepower rather than finesse.
