Cerastus Knight-Lancer

The Cerastus Knight-Lancer was among the swiftest and most elegant of all the Knight patterns, a war-suit built for the devastating charge and the lightning duel. Taller and faster than the sturdy Questoris chassis, the Lancer bore a mighty shock lance whose energised tip could punch clean through the armour of a rival Knight or shatter a tank in a single thunderous impact. In its other fist it carried an ion gauntlet shield, a broad guard that turned aside enemy fire and smashed foes aside in close quarters. The Lancer was the cavalry of the Knight houses made manifest, a champion that lived for the moment of impact, closing the distance in a rush of speed to hurl its full weight upon the enemy. On the battlefields of the Heresy, a charging Knight-Lancer was a terror few formations could withstand, an armoured thunderbolt that broke the enemy on the point of its lance.
