The Kill Team is the Deathwatch made manifest — a small, self-contained force in which every warrior is chosen for a purpose. Rather than fielding uniform squads, the Watch assembles teams from whatever specialists a mission demands, mixing armoured terminators, agile vanguard veterans, and heavy-weapons brothers into a single coordinated unit. The result is a formation of extraordinary flexibility, able to breach a fortified position, hunt through close terrain, and deliver overwhelming firepower all at once.
This composite structure is the Deathwatch's answer to a galaxy of endlessly varied foes. Facing a xenos ambush in the dark, a kill team can bring close-quarters killers to the fore; confronting armoured aliens across open ground, it can unleash specialised heavy weapons. Each warrior trusts his brothers absolutely, for though they hail from different Chapters, the black armour binds them as one. When a kill team deploys, it does so with a clear objective and the certainty that its varied talents can achieve what no single kind of warrior could.
