The Corvus Blackstar is a machine forged for the Deathwatch way of war. Sleek, fast, and heavily armed, it exists to carry a kill team swiftly and safely into the teeth of an alien incursion, then to lend its considerable firepower to the battle below. Its armaments are formidable and can be configured for the mission at hand, allowing the gunship to strafe massed swarms, crack armoured targets, or hammer fortified positions before the warriors it carries even touch the ground.
Beyond its guns, the Blackstar is prized for its ability to approach a target unseen, slipping through enemy defences to disgorge its passengers where they are least expected. Once the kill team deploys, the gunship remains a lethal presence overhead, engaging fresh threats and covering the warriors' withdrawal when the mission ends. Rugged enough to survive contested airspace and swift enough to escape it, the Corvus Blackstar is the wings of the Deathwatch — the means by which a handful of veterans can strike anywhere the alien menace rises, and vanish before the foe can answer.
