Where the Eightbound share their bodies with lesser murder-daemons, the Exalted are host to far mightier entities, and the difference is written across their transformed forms. They stand taller and broader than their brethren, their war-plate split and reshaped by the power seething within, their weapons wreathed in the killing hunger of the Blood God. The fusion has driven them further from humanity than any other living World Eater, and only their unquenchable thirst for slaughter still ties them to the Legion at all.
In combat the Exalted Eightbound are a devastating spearhead. They carry the charge with unstoppable force, smashing into enemy lines and shattering formations that would hold against any other assault. The greater daemons within grant them terrible strength and a resilience that shrugs off wounds which would kill lesser warriors outright, while the shared instinct of host and passenger makes them fight as a single ferocious pack. They are unleashed at the decisive moment, when the enemy's strongest point must be broken, and few defences survive their arrival intact. To the World Eaters, the Exalted are honoured champions and living proof of Khorne's favour, killers so blessed that daemonhood itself has begun to claim them.
