The Gorgon Terminators are the Iron Hands' immovable core, veterans so heavily augmented that little of the original man remains beneath their Terminator plate. Named for their primarch, called the Gorgon for his hardness of purpose, they fight as he did, advancing without hurry and without fear, shrugging off fire that would fell whole squads and answering it with the crushing certainty of powered fists and iron. They do not manoeuvre so much as arrive, a wall of ceramite and augmetic that closes on an objective and simply refuses to be moved from it. In a Legion that held flesh to be a weakness, the Gorgons are the proof of the creed made walking, warriors who have surrendered so much of themselves to the machine that pain, doubt, and mercy have all been engineered away, leaving only the cold and patient work of destruction.
