Semyon

Semyon was a Magos of the Ordo Reductor, a siege-adept who had spent long service perfecting the science of destruction in the Emperor's name. He was a creature of grim discipline even by the standards of the priesthood, his flesh long since surrendered to augmetics and his mind a cold engine of ballistic calculation, yet within that armoured shell there endured a devotion that the treachery of his masters could not corrupt. Where Kelbor-Hal saw in the Emperor a jailer, Semyon saw an oath, and he would not break it though Mars itself fell to ruin.

When the Schism came, Semyon turned the Reductor's terrible art against the traitors, bringing his demolition-engines and siege-automata to bear upon the corrupted forge-hosts of the Dark Mechanicum. He fought a grinding, attritional war of shattered bastions and collapsing sprawls, spending his cohorts with the same cold economy he brought to every equation of destruction. Amid a priesthood that had largely chosen damnation, Semyon stood as one of the stubborn loyal, an adept who wielded the science of unmaking to keep the Emperor's cause alive in the darkest corner of the Heresy.
