Tempest's Eye

Perched atop the Titanspear mountain in Aqshy, Tempest's Eye keeps eternal watch over the horizon and prides itself on never being surprised. It is a city of merchants, aelven outriders, and duardin gunners that musters faster than any other free city, with Kharadron trade fleets moored above its spires.

Tempest's Eye keeps its vigil from the summit of the Titanspear, a mountain so vast in Aqshy that the city's watchtowers pierce the cloud-line and look down upon storms. From that height its lookouts scan every horizon, and the city's oldest boast is that nothing has ever taken it by surprise. Warning-beacons, aelven scouts, and swift signal-drakes form a net of vigilance cast leagues in every direction, so that Tempest's Eye is always the first to see trouble coming and the first to be ready for it.

That readiness is its genius. No free city musters faster; its merchants, aelven outriders, and duardin gunners can march fully armed while rival cities are still sounding their alarms, and this speed has let Tempest's Eye reinforce distant allies before a siege could properly begin. Overhead, the ironclads of the Kharadron Overlords ride at anchor among its spires, for the sky-duardin prize a partner who reads weather and war alike from so lofty a perch.

Within the Cities of Sigmar, Tempest's Eye is the ever-open eye — a city of watchers and quick swords that trades the luxury of surprise for the discipline of never being surprised, and has outlasted grander neighbours on that bargain alone.
