The Knight Castellan belongs to the Dominus class, the largest and most heavily armed of all Imperial Knights, standing head and shoulders above the Questoris machines that form the bulk of a household's strength. It is a walking bastion, conceived not to charge but to anchor, delivering annihilating firepower across vast distances while shrugging off punishment that would fell lesser Knights.
The Castellan's arsenal is fearsome to behold. Its primary weapons can level fortifications and gut enemy titans, while a host of secondary armaments protects it from every angle, tearing apart any foe that dares approach. Layered ion shields and immense armour make the Castellan extraordinarily durable, allowing it to hold ground against overwhelming assaults where any other machine would be overrun.
Such a machine is a treasure beyond price, and only the wealthiest and most favoured houses can field one. To pilot a Castellan is to command the pinnacle of a household's power, a responsibility entrusted only to scions of the highest standing. When a Castellan takes the field, it announces that a Knightly house has committed its full might to the war, and few enemies can stand before such a declaration.
