Warlord Battle Titan

The Horus Heresy

The towering king of the god-engines, a walking cathedral of destruction around which a Titan Legion's battle-line is anchored.

The Warlord Battle Titan was the towering king of the god-engines, the colossal war-machine around which a Titan Legion's battle-line was anchored and its enemies' hopes were broken. Standing higher than many hive-spires and bristling with guns that could each level a fortress, the Warlord was a walking cathedral of destruction, its carapace crowded with turrets and its arms mounting the mightiest weapons the Mechanicum could forge. A single Warlord could break an army, its void shields shrugging aside a storm of fire while its guns annihilated whole formations with every salvo. Within its armoured skull the Princeps commanded from a throne of communion, bound so deeply to the ancient and prideful machine-spirit that the two became one engine of divine wrath. In the Titandeath, it was Warlord against Warlord that decided the fate of worlds, colossi trading blows until one at last toppled in fire. To witness a Warlord stride to war was to look upon the closest thing to a god that human hands had ever wrought.
