The Reaver Battle Titan was the versatile mainstay of many a Titan Legion, a medium god-engine that balanced firepower, resilience, and mobility in a single formidable frame. Larger and far tougher than the questing Warhound yet nimbler than the towering Warlord, the Reaver could be armed for almost any role its Princeps required, its mounts fitted with gatling blasters, laser blasters, melta cannons, or the fearsome apocalypse missile launcher as the coming battle demanded. This adaptability made the Reaver the workhorse of the god-engines, equally suited to shattering armour at range, levelling fortifications, or standing in the line beside its greater kin. In the wars of the Heresy, Reavers formed the deadly heart of many a maniple, their guns adding weight to the Warlords' while their comparative speed let them answer threats the larger engines could not. To stand before a Reaver was to face a walking fortress that could reduce a city block to rubble, an engine that embodied the balanced might of the Collegia Titanica.
