Their knowledge of the Warp and its denizens is vast, hard-won through countless banishments, and their judgement shapes the course of the Chapter's secret campaigns.

In battle, a Grand Master is a beacon of resolve, his presence bolstering the wills of those around him and steeling them against the horrors they face. His own psychic might is immense, capable of unleashing devastating workings against the enemy, and his mastery of the force weapon is matched by few in the galaxy.

A Grand Master rarely commits himself to a battle unless the stakes are dire, for his attention is demanded across many fronts at once. When he does take the field in person, it is a sign that a threat of the gravest order has arisen, and that the full weight of a Brotherhood has been brought to bear to see it destroyed.
