The Kabalite Warriors are the standing soldiery of the Kabals, the poised and merciless infantry that carry out the will of their Archon on a thousand raided worlds. Each is a product of Commorragh's savage social order, having clawed their way to a position of relative security within their Kabal through ruthlessness and skill. Unlike the conscript masses of other races, they are volunteers in the truest sense — predators who fight because the raid feeds their thirst and elevates their standing.
Their signature armament is the splinter weapon, a device that fires slivers of crystalline toxin at ferocious speed. These munitions do little to breach armour by force but carry poisons so virulent that the smallest wound can drop even the mightiest warrior into convulsions. A disciplined squad can lay down a withering hail of these projectiles, reducing an enemy formation to a writhing carpet of the dying.
Kabalite Warriors fight with cold coordination, advancing behind anti-grav transports and dismounting only to reap the living. They grow bolder and swifter as slaughter mounts around them, feeding on the terror of their victims. To fall in battle is a rare disgrace for them; they prize survival, plunder, and the securing of captives above all, for every prisoner dragged back to the Dark City is both a source of sustenance and a token of the raider's success.
