The city sprawls across countless pocket dimensions, its districts and sub-realms linked by webway portals and ruled by scheming aristocrats known as archons. Because its inhabitants slowly have their souls drained by the Dark Prince of Chaos, they stave off this fate by drinking in the agony of captives, and so Commorragh is built around the infliction of pain. Slave markets, gladiatorial coliseums, and torture-palaces form the beating heart of its economy and culture.
From Commorragh, raiding fleets slip out through the Webway to descend upon unsuspecting worlds, seizing prisoners before withdrawing as swiftly as they came.
