Blightlord Terminators are drawn from the most devoted and long-serving warriors of the Legion, champions whose faith in Nurgle has been rewarded with heavy Terminator war-plate and a superabundance of the Grandfather's gifts. Their armour, already among the most resilient in existence, has been fused with their bloated bodies and thickened by ages of accumulated corruption until it resembles a mobile fortress of rusted, weeping ceramite.
These elite warriors are as close to indestructible as flesh and metal allow. They wade into the fiercest fighting and simply endure, shrugging off wounds and heavy fire alike, their swollen frames absorbing damage that would tear a normal warrior apart. They can materialise in the heart of an enemy formation via ancient teleportation, or advance in a slow, unstoppable phalanx, dragging their monstrous mass toward the foe.
In close quarters they wield corrupted weapons of great potency: rot-encrusted blades, filth-spewing guns, and heavy armaments that spit disease and death. Their very presence is a hazard, the air about them thick with contagion. Deployed as shock troops and living bulwarks, Blightlord Terminators anchor the Death Guard line and spearhead its most brutal assaults, a testament to what a warrior may become after ten thousand years of loyal decay.
