The Fangs of Sotek take their name and their fervour from the serpent-god the skink priesthood has awaited since before the Mortal Realms were made. Sotek, the prophecies insist, will come devouring the enemies of the cold-blooded — and while the slann keep their counsel, the skinks of this constellation need no permission to believe. The Fangs are skink-led to a degree that unsettles the saurus, and they wage war as devotion, each battle a verse in a prophecy still unfolding.
Their way of war is the serpent's. A Fangs host does not crash upon the foe so much as flood through it — swift and everywhere at once, skink cohorts and their beasts pouring through gaps that open and close faster than an enemy can react. The strike lands like venom in the blood: sudden, and finished by the time the wound is felt. Where slower armies mass and grind, the Fangs are gone before the counter-blow falls.
Such speed makes them the most zealous and least patient of the great constellations of the Seraphon. The slann indulge the priesthood's ecstasies because they serve the Great Plan well enough — though whether Sotek is a true design of the Old Ones or a hope the skinks have dreamed into truth is a question the constellation, mid-strike, has never paused to ask.

Order of battle
The Fangs of Sotek field the units of the Seraphon — a detachment from the roster:
Kindred formations
Other Seraphon formations
Dracothion's TailThe oldest and most orthodox of the Starborne constellations, said to have been guided to safe harbour in Azyr by the great celestial drake Dracothion when the slann fled the death of their first world. Its temple-ships hang above the realms like patient stars, and its hosts blaze into being precisely where the slann's dreams require them — often before the enemy knows there is a war to lose.
Koatl's ClawA Coalesced constellation whose long ages in the wild realms have thickened starlight into muscle, scale, and cold fury. Dominated by its saurus warrior-lodges, Koatl's Claw answers most strategic questions with a charge, and its warhosts have flattened fortresses that believed themselves besieged by mere animals.
Thunder LizardA Coalesced constellation that reveres the great beasts as the Old Ones' mightiest handiwork. Its warhosts march beneath thundering herds of stegadons and armoured behemoths, and its solution to most military problems weighs upward of thirty tons and is already moving.
