The Ripperdactyl Riders are among the most ferocious warriors of the Seraphon, skinks who have mastered the near-impossible feat of riding the savage ripperdactyls into war. These flying reptiles are creatures of pure, ravening hunger, and their riders barely restrain them, using a lure of blooded toad to send the beasts into a killing frenzy at the crucial moment. Diving from high above, the riders fall upon their chosen prey in a whirlwind of snapping jaws, raking talons and stabbing spears, ganging upon enemy monsters and heroes to drag them down through sheer savagery. A single ripperdactyl can strip a war-beast to the bone, and a flight of them descending together is a nightmare of leathery wings and tearing teeth. The skinks themselves ride with reckless glee, whooping as their mounts gorge. Swift, unpredictable and utterly merciless, the Ripperdactyl Riders strike where the enemy is strongest and leave ruin in their wake before soaring back into the sky to hunt anew.
