Grungni

Grungni is the ancestor-god of all duardin, the divine Maker whose genius for metal, machine and invention echoes through every rivet and endrin of the Kharadron Overlords. In ages past he laboured at Sigmar's side, forging weapons and armour for the young pantheon and even giving of his own divine essence to arm the God-King's champions. The Kharadron are a pragmatic folk who trust in ledgers and aether-science rather than open worship, yet the imprint of Grungni is stamped upon their entire civilization, for it was his lore of smithcraft and his relentless spirit of ingenuity that first made their floating empire possible. Old oaths and hearth-songs still name him among the sky-ports, and many an engineer mutters a half-remembered blessing to the Maker before firing up a stubborn endrin. Whether they call it faith or merely respect for a peerless craftsman, the sky-duardin carry Grungni's legacy into every cloud and storm. In their tireless building and rebuilding, in their reverence for the well-made thing, the Ancestor-God endures.
