The Mhara Gal Ordnance Dreadnought was a thing of dread even to the Word Bearers who deployed it, a war-engine so steeped in the corruption of the warp that it could scarcely be called a mere machine any longer. Within its scarred and leaking hull, the boundary between technology and daemonic possession had all but dissolved, and the arcane ordnance it bore fused conventional destruction with the raw malice of the immaterium. Where it walked, reality itself seemed to sicken, its presence a wound through which the warp bled slowly into the material world. The Legion's dark priests regarded such engines as sacred abominations, evidence of how far the Seventeenth had travelled along the path of the Primordial Truth. In battle the Mhara Gal was a weapon of terror as much as ordnance, its every shot a small blasphemy, and even hardened enemies faltered at the sight of a dreadnought that radiated corruption like heat.
