Teleporting into the heart of an enemy formation or grinding forward through the fiercest fire, they were as much a statement of faith as a weapon of war, living reliquaries of the Seventeenth's belief. Their power fists and combi-weapons broke the strongest enemy strongpoints, and they fought with the serene certainty of the truly faithful, unafraid of death in service to their cause. When the Legion embraced Chaos, the icons upon their plate were rededicated to darker patrons, and the Terminators became the mailed fist of a crusade against the Imperium they had once served.
