Encased in artificer plate and bearing the great power weapons and boarding shields of the Suzerain tradition, they fought as an unbreakable core around which the Legion's line could pivot and turn. Where lesser formations bent, the Suzerains held, advancing at a measured pace that transformed a defensive stand into a slow and inexorable execution. They embodied the Ultramarian conviction that discipline was itself a weapon, that no charge should break their formation and no terror scatter them. At Calth and in the desperate campaigns that followed, the Suzerains became the immovable heart of a Legion fighting for its very survival, their shields locked against traitor and daemon alike.
