The Fulmentarus Terminator Strike Squad was a Legion-specific pattern of heavily armoured warriors tasked with the destruction of an enemy's most dangerous assets. Clad in Cataphractii plate and bearing shoulder-mounted missile racks alongside searing firepikes, the Fulmentarus specialised in the interdiction of gunships, war-engines, and armoured spearheads before they could bring their weight to bear on the Legion's line. Where other Terminators fought as shock troops, these veterans fought as executioners of machines, patient and deliberate, choosing their targets with the same methodical care the XIII brought to every discipline. Deployed by teleportarium or advancing behind the main battle line, a single Fulmentarus squad could break the spine of a mechanised assault. During the Heresy, that role turned grim indeed, for the war-engines they now hunted had once belonged to brothers.
