The Hobgoblin Wolf Riders are the fast-moving eyes and knives of a Chaos Dwarf army, treacherous greenskin slaves mounted on lean, slavering giant wolves and loosed to range far ahead of the plodding Dawi Zharr line. Cowardly and cunning in equal measure, they will not stand against a real fight, but they excel at the work the Chaos Dwarfs disdain — scouting, harrying, running down fleeing troops, and loosing showers of arrows into exposed flanks before wheeling away out of reach. Their wolves are half-wild things that must be whipped into obedience, as likely to turn on a fallen rider as on the enemy. The Chaos Dwarfs trust the Hobgoblins not at all, and with good reason, for the wolf-riders would betray their masters in a heartbeat if they dared. But so long as fear and profit hold, they serve as swift, expendable outriders for a slow and merciless host.
