The Hurakan Windchargers are the fleet cavalry of the aelementiri who have taken the wind as their teacher, riding swift steeds across the field in flowing arcs that no lumbering foe can pin down. They are horse-archers without peer, loosing arrows in mid-gallop with a precision that seems to mock the very idea of a moving shot, then wheeling away before a counterblow can land.
Their art is one of motion and patience, whittling an enemy down turn by turn, striking the flanks and the stragglers and vanishing back into their own dust. Among the Lumineth Realm-Lords they embody the philosophy of the Hurakan temples: that the wind cannot be grasped, only endured, and that a foe who cannot catch you cannot beat you. Windchargers harry the enemy into exhaustion and error, herding whole formations toward the waiting spears of the Vanari, and their laughter on the gale is the last thing many a slow, heavy warrior hears before the arrows find him.
