Alarith Stoneguard

The Alarith Stoneguard are aelves who climbed to the high temples, sat down opposite a mountain, and did not rise until they had learned to think at its speed: a communion that can take decades. The aelement seeps into the flesh: skin greys toward granite, patience deepens past mortal measure, and each hammer-blow lands with the settled weight of a tectonic opinion.

In war the Stoneguard are the Lumineth's answer to the unstoppable: they station themselves in its path and become the immovable. Diamond-tipped picks and stone mauls crack ensorcelled plate like ore, the temple war-chant holds one endless subterranean note, and the line advances a single rooted step at a time. Enemies who mistake their stillness for slowness are added to the geological record.
