The Hurakan Spirit of the Wind is an aelemental given form, a vast and serpentine being of living air conjured from the high storms of Hysh and bound to the will of the aelementiri. It moves as the wind moves, coiling across the battlefield in gusts and gales, tossing aside armoured warriors like autumn leaves and answering iron with the raw, tearing force of a hurricane.
To the Lumineth these spirits are more than weapons; they are elders, revered manifestations of the wind's own boundless nature, courted and honoured rather than merely commanded. Among the Lumineth Realm-Lords the Spirit of the Wind fights alongside the Hurakan cavalry, a screaming tempest that scatters enemy formations and clears the way for the swift riders that follow. Arrows and spears pass through its shifting body to no effect, and no wall or shield can hold against a force that simply flows over and around every defence. To face it is to fight the sky itself in a rage, and few mortal armies have the courage, or the anchors, to stand against so intangible and merciless a foe.
