The Kraith took the creed to its final, bloody conclusion and refused to flinch. If worship is what the blade does — as every Daughter is taught — then the Kraith reason that slaughter is itself the god, that Khaine lives most fully in the killing stroke, and that any restraint in battle is blasphemy. They do not fight to win ground or fulfil a stratagem; they fight because the fighting is the prayer, and a prayer cut short is a prayer denied.
This makes them the wildest and most feared of the temples, even among their own sisters. A Kraith assault is a headlong crimson frenzy, war-covens hurling themselves at the enemy with no thought for formation or survival, still drenched in the blood of rites performed before the battle and eager to add more. Other Daughters, no strangers to zealotry, keep a wary distance, for a temple that acknowledges no battlefield law but the blade's is a hard thing to stand beside.
Morathi finds the Kraith useful for their excess. The devotion they pour out in slaughter is raw, abundant, and — like all devotion in the Daughters of Khaine — siphoned to the goddess who truly receives it. That they would be horrified to learn where their ecstasies flow is, to Morathi, proof of how completely the faith has taken hold.
Daughters of Khaine
Order of battle
The The Kraith field the units of the Daughters of Khaine — a detachment from the roster:
Kindred formations
Other Daughters of Khaine formations
Draichi GanethThe most public-facing of the temples, famed for settling honor and doctrine alike through formal duels fought before roaring crowds. To the free cities they present the faith's most disciplined and dazzling face — a performance polished enough that audiences rarely ask what all that skill is actually for.
Hagg NarThe First Temple, cradle of the faith and seat of Morathi-Khaine herself, where the Máthcoir — the Mother Cauldron — seethes at the heart of the shadow-city. The Daughters of the First Temple fight with the terrible confidence of those who stand nearest the goddess, and they are sent wherever the war of faith burns hottest.
KhailebronA temple that treats shadow as sacrament, mastering concealment, misdirection, and the quiet knife. Khailebron war-covens walk the umbral paths of Ulgu to arrive where no army should be, strike without warning, and vanish before any alarm can be raised.
