Where other temples spill blood in the open, Khailebron spills it in the dark and is gone before the body is found. This is the temple that treats shadow as a sacrament, holding that Khaine is served as truly by the unseen knife as by the screaming charge — its Daughters making concealment, misdirection, and murder a single seamless art. They are masters of Ulgu, the Realm of Shadow that cradled the faith, moving through its umbral byways as other armies move down roads.
A Khailebron war-coven does not approach a battlefield so much as appear upon it. Walking the shadow-paths, they emerge behind a foe's lines, within his fortress, at the flank he thought secure — striking without warning at the throats that matter, then dissolving into the murk before any alarm is raised. Enemies who fight them describe not a battle but a series of disappearances: sentries who never cry out, commanders dead in guarded tents, an army bleeding from within while its walls stand unbreached.
Such subtlety makes Khailebron best suited to the quiet work the faith would rather its allies not witness. Among the Daughters of Khaine, when a rival must vanish or a dangerous truth be buried with the one who learned it, it is often a Khailebron blade that answers.
Daughters of Khaine
Order of battle
The Khailebron field the units of the Daughters of Khaine — a detachment from the roster:
Kindred formations
Other Daughters of Khaine formations
Draichi GanethThe most public-facing of the temples, famed for settling honor and doctrine alike through formal duels fought before roaring crowds. To the free cities they present the faith's most disciplined and dazzling face — a performance polished enough that audiences rarely ask what all that skill is actually for.
Hagg NarThe First Temple, cradle of the faith and seat of Morathi-Khaine herself, where the Máthcoir — the Mother Cauldron — seethes at the heart of the shadow-city. The Daughters of the First Temple fight with the terrible confidence of those who stand nearest the goddess, and they are sent wherever the war of faith burns hottest.
The KraithThe wildest of the temples, zealots who hold that Khaine lives within the act of slaughter itself and that restraint in battle borders on heresy. Their crimson rites and headlong assaults unsettle even other Daughters, for the Kraith accept no law on the battlefield but the blade's.
