Tzaangor Skyfires

The Tzaangor Skyfires are disc-mounted hunters who wield the fatecaster greatbow, loosing ensorcelled arrows guided by glimpses of things to come. Reading the paths of the future, they pluck aircraft from the sky and slay distant targets with impossible, prophesied precision.

Where the Enlightened take up the divining spear, their kindred the Skyfires take the bow, and to it they bring the same terrible gift of foresight. Riding their Discs of Tzeentch high above the fray, these Tzaangor hunters wield the fatecaster greatbow, a sorcerous weapon strung with cords of ectoplasm that send arrows along ensorcelled, fate-guided paths toward targets no mortal archer could hope to strike.

Their sight ranges through the immediate future, and so their arrows fall not where the enemy stands but where he will be, arcing around cover and correcting in flight to find flesh that ought to have been safe. Nothing that flies is beyond their reach. The Skyfires excel above all at hunting the enemy's aircraft, loosing shafts that seem to know their quarry's evasions before the pilot has made them, so that gunships and fliers tumble burning from the heavens.

Across the battlefield they wheel as a mobile murder of archers, raining prophesied death upon leaders, war-engines and skimming craft alike before banking away on the warp-born winds. Like all their enlightened kin they are creatures of causality, and the arrow that appears to defy every law of trajectory is in truth merely following the one path its wielder has already watched it take.
