Ahriman on Disc of Tzeentch

Astride a Disc of Tzeentch, Ahzek Ahriman rides to war as the greatest sorcerer the Thousand Sons have ever produced. The disc bears the Arch-Sorcerer swiftly across the battlefield, from which vantage he reshapes the fates of whole armies and unleashes devastating storms of change-fire.

When Ahzek Ahriman takes to the field of battle, he does so most often astride a Disc of Tzeentch, one of the daemonic constructs beloved of the Changer's servants. The disc carries the Arch-Sorcerer swiftly above the carnage, granting him a commanding view of the unfolding battle and the freedom to move wherever his sorcery is most needed, a fitting steed for a warrior who wages war as much upon fate as upon flesh.

Mounted thus, Ahriman is a nexus of terrible power. He wields the black staff that is his badge of mastery, its every blow carrying killing force, and looses bolts and storms of warp-fire that scour the enemy from afar. Yet his deadliest weapons are subtler than these. Foremost among all sorcerers, he manipulates the threads of probability itself, and as a scryer of fates he can spirit his fellow warriors across the battlefield or fold them back into the Warp, so that the Thousand Sons appear where they are least expected and are gone before the foe can answer.

To behold Ahriman disc-borne above his silent Rubricae is to witness the full and awful flowering of his craft. He is the culmination of everything the Thousand Sons were meant to be, a master of the arcane without peer among the Traitor Legions, and though the disaster of his Rubric damns him still, none who face him upon the battlefield can deny the sheer, annihilating scale of the power he commands.
