The Legion Sicaran Battle Tank suited the Sixth Legion as few war-machines did, for it was built not to sit and trade blows but to hunt. Faster than the heavier tanks that ground across the battlefields of the Great Crusade, the Sicaran raced ahead of the armoured line with its accelerator autocannons howling, tearing apart transports and light armour before their crews could react. The Vlka Fenryka prized that predator's pace above all, crewing their Sicarans with warriors who understood the chase in their marrow and drove the machine as a wolf-lord drives a pack, cutting off the enemy's retreat and savaging his flanks. Where other Legions used the tank as a gun platform, the Rout used it as a runner brought down to kill, a steel beast loosed to chase the broken across the ash. In the wars of the Heresy it hunted traitor armour with the same remorseless joy.
