The Prosecutors form the ranged battle-line of the Sisters of Silence, the order of pariah warrior-women who fight beside the Adeptus Custodes as the Emperor's anti-witch executioners. Each Sister is a Null, a soul-blind untouchable whose very presence withers psychic power and turns the stomachs of those around her, and the Prosecutors forge this dread gift into a weapon of methodical destruction. Advancing in silent, disciplined ranks, they lay down withering volleys of bolter fire, cutting down cultists, traitors and lesser xenos with the same cold precision. Yet it is against the witch and the daemon that they truly come into their own, for no sorcery may touch a mind the warp cannot perceive, and the fell powers of an enemy psyker gutter and die in their presence. Where a Custodian host advances to shield the master of mankind, the Prosecutors range ahead and to the flanks, a silent tide of muzzle-flash that clears the way and ensures no witch-fire falls upon the golden guardians. They speak no word, for all have taken a solemn vow of silence, and their judgement is delivered only in bolt-shells.
